D + J Wedding - Mt Mee

August 11 will always be the day they celebrated with family and friends a marriage where God is the centre. How beautiful it is to witness two wonderful people stand before their God and promise to spend the rest of their lives together serving and honouring Him.

We first met these two a few months back in a forrest near our home where we photographed their engagement. They took no hesitation in jumping into the ice cold winter rock pools to which I was endlessly impressed!

For their wedding they wanted the day to be about their families - not just themselves. You could tell their families were close knit and full of as much loveliness as them so it is no wonder why family was a huge part of their day. In amongst phone calls from Canada and best friends who made the floral arrangements their whole day was made personal and focused on the people that matter most to them.

After their 'I Do's" we headed to a private property just down the road where the views of the Sunshine Coast were simply spectacular. After being chased by some cows we jumped in the cars and made our way to D'Agulliar National Park where the landscape suddenly turned from Australian to Canadian. What a perfect fusion of imagery for this Aussie and his Canadian Bride.

Thank you for bringing us along on your day. We loved getting to know you both and pray abundant blessings on your new beginning!
